Museum Releases 20,000 High-Res Artworks

You can now take in the masterpieces of the world in your own home. Thanks to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), you can hang them on your wall, too.

The museum has spent two years building its database to make its artworks available for online view. Anyone looking to jazz up their homes and office spaces will be delighted to know that 20,000 of these pieces can be downloaded in high-quality TIF files for free.

In total, there are about 80,000 images to admire in the archive. The museum’s search tool makes it easy for you to filter the free-to-download ones—simply check the box next to “show public domain images only.”

View some free downloadable art and see the full collection on the LACMA site.
