World-Famous Brands Get Cool Retro Throwbacks In Nifty Logo Redesign Series

Several days ago, designer ‘FuturePunk’, who makes “art & music and deals memes on the side,” uploaded a collection of 80s-styled retro logo designs inspired by some of today’s biggest brands to Reddit.

The part one and two collections that vintage lovers will adore quickly gained traction among the art and design community online.

In the first post, names such as Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and Amazon enjoy a throwback to yesteryear, in the era of analog and neon lights. If you look closely at the Amazon logo redesign, you’ll notice that ‘FuturePunk’ retained the “A to Z” detail from the real-life design.

In the second post, Netflix, eBay, YouTube, Google, and SoundCloud join the lineup, where the Netflix reimagination resembles MTV’s logo design and Google’s rendition sports elements iconic of Apple’s former logo.

Have a look at the retro-styled remakes below, which is your favorite?
