MacOS 11 Concept Simplifies Design For Greater Efficiency, Boosts UI/UX

While users await the macOS 11 update, a student from the University of Navarra in Spain has imagined a version of the desktop operating system that packs an all-new design with all-new features for enhanced UI and UX.

Álvaro Pabesio showcases this simplified redesign applied to its ‘Control Center’, ‘Apps’, ‘Siri’, ‘Finder’, ‘Music’, ‘Messages’, ‘Camera’, device syncing and more. The work featured below is a preview leading up to Pabesio’s full concept, which he says will be coming soon.

Upon seeing the concept on Pabesio’s portfolio, a fellow graphic designer responded, “You should get paid for this. Amazing work and really professional. If my iPhone updated like this I would think some workers at Apple did it. Once again really amazing designs, well done.”

Another designer from Toronto, Canada added, “Interesting concept and love the efficient use of screen real estate! A great source of inspiration for an aspiring UI/UX designer like myself :)”
