Web Browser Opera Launches Modern Rebrand With Striking New Logo
Using a unique technology that compresses data with no quality loss—thus giving users more content with less data usage—Opera is one of the top five web browsers in the world today.
Based on this strategic advantage, it has came up with the tagline “Do More”—Norway-based creative agency Anti has recently redesigned Opera’s branding to reflect this statement, and create a modern visual identity that is more suited for the digital world.
After this rebranding effort, the “Red Opera O” logo is no longer typographic—the revamped logo represents a portal through which data is compressed and released on the other side as more content.
Simple but striking, this new logo could be used with different images to communicate Opera’s data compression strategy, and let users know that they are getting less for more in an engaging visual manner.
